Rabat, October 13^th, 2023 – The Women Development Organization (WDO), led by its Executive Director, H.E Dr. Afnan Alshuaiby, signed on Friday a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Islamic World Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) to boost their cooperation on empowering and educating women and girls.

June 2023, Cairo, WDO, led by its Executive Director, Dr. Afnan Alshuaiby, participated in the Second Ministerial Conference on Social Development in the OIC Member States that was under the theme of Social Justice and Social Security. The conference took place in Cairo, Arab Republic of Egypt, on the 5^th and 6^th of June, 2023.

A delegation from WDO, headed by Her Excellency Dr. Afnan Alshuaiby the Executive Director of the organization, participated in the Women in Islam session that took place in March 2023, during the sixty-seventh session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW 67) in the UN Headquarters in New York.
