Jeddah, November 7, 2023 – H.E. Dr. Afnan Alshuaiby, Executive Director of the Women Development Organization (WDO), met Tuesday with Minister of State of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), H.E. Dr. Maitha Al Shamsi, on the sidelines of the Women in Islam Conference in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Executive Director highlighted the recent achievements of WDO with the Minister of State, who on her part presented what the UAE is doing to empower women and girls.
Dr. Alshuaiby and Dr. Al Shamsi then discussed the potential collaborations that can be executed between WDO and the government of the UAE.
