Cairo, February 26th, 2024 – In support of Palestinian people, The Women Development Organization (WDO) issues this official statement to express its unwavering support for the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in their plea at the International Court of Justice (ICJ), The Hague. Secretary-General of the OIC, H.E. Mr Hissein Brahim Taha made oral pleading, where he reviewed the crimes committed by Israel against the Palestinian people, in particular, its war in the Gaza Strip. He also averred that Israel continues to pursue apartheid policy against the Palestinians. WDO recognizes the importance of the OIC's efforts to seek justice, promote peace, and protect the rights and interests of the Palestinian people. WDO also calls upon the international community to support the OIC's plea and recognize the significance of their efforts in seeking justice.
